RFID can be used for multiple applications. We have developed solutions for visitor attractions, event timing and security purposes.

RFID systems can read or write to special wristbands or labels. This can be used to record a persons location and/or time.

Location or time recording

Each label or wristband can record data on it to be read after. Up to 64 unique data blobs can be stored. This can be used to record a persons location along a route and or time at a location.

Unique ID’s

Giving a person a wristband with a unique ID can be used to in the same way as a key. Grant unique access to information or a location. Record access times to specific rooms or data. A unique ID can be assigned to each person and its use recorded, storing several years with of its use.

Example use

You run a park and you’d like families to visit all the attractions during their visit. You give them a wristband on arrival and then scan it at each location to prove they have been there.

You scan their wristband on exit to see which locations they have visited.

FAQs

Can the scan units be left outside?

Each scan unit is waterproof and will last for weeks without a charge. We can add a solar panel to each unit ensuring that they are always charged.

How is the wristbands activity recorded?

You will be supplied with a master scan unit which reads all the data from the wristband or label. This data can then be presented in several ways, such as a results table or location map on a website.

How do the wristbands work?

We can supply our own or custom made wristbands. They are silicon, waterproof and very hardy. They can survive a good bashing so would work fine in muddy outdoor situations. Each wristband has a chip inside it with a unique identity code.
